A little about us!
I have been a REALTOR® since 1997 and I love what I do,
I have lived in and around the Barrie area for 32 years
and have seen the city grow from 30,000 to 150,00 so
many changes have taken place and it has been great to
be part of those changes. Elmer came into my life 6
years ago, and in September of 2010 also joined me as my
business partner.
Over the years I have worked with a number of buyers
and sellers, helping them to market their home and
educating them on the selling or buying process. So much
as changed during this time period and I am constantly
upgrading my skills, especially in the technology area.
I
also believing in giving back to my profession and have
been a volunteer on the Barrie & District Association of
REALTORS® since 2001, serving as chair of our MLS®
Technology, Finance & Executive Committees. I served as
President in 2006 and again in 2009, and am currently
the 2010 Past President. This has been a truly
wonderful experience, the amount of understanding you
gain for the market and what is happening across Canada
is second to none. You get the opportunity to listen to
amazing speakers, eg. Jean Chretien, former Provincial
Premiers, some on the top economic forecasters and
more.
Although the internet has become a large part of our
business,
I strongly believe that Real Estate is still a people
business ...
